An Evening with Bill Maher
Bill Maher was here this past weekend to perform a standup comedy show for his Savannah audience.
Maher was a hit here in the hostess city, with his casual dress and laid back demeanor, he was ready to let loose on the world of politics, daily life scenarios, relationships, childhood memories, and all else in between.
Maher's standup show was a good change from how you regularly see Bill Maher on TV, with his suit and tie and even at times, his manners, but An Evening with Bill Maher was where he let his hair hang loose so to say. Maher spoke like he was among friends and held nothing back when joking and conversing with the crowd.
There was a mass of diversity among the seats, with the ages ranging from teenagers to people in their early eighties, with waves and waves of laughing faces in all directions and an abundance of laughter and crude jokes. It was a laughing riot in the Johnny Mercer Theatre at the Savannah Civic Center.
No seriousness was allowed.
You just have to put all your stuffy conservative views aside and laugh for a change.
When it comes to political comedy, Bill Maher is his own brand, often imitated and never duplicated he is 100% authenticated.
