It’s Pirate Fest, Mateys!
I hope you have a clean eye patch and a healthy shoulder parrot, because you’re going to need them. October 6th through 9th, Tybee Island hosts its 7th Annual Pirate Festival! Featuring a parade, costume contest, live entertainment, food, drink, and shopping, Pirate Fest is a family friendly festival with something for everyone.
The fun kicks off Thursday, October 6th at 7 PM with the Swashbuckler’s Bash. Featuring live music from pirate band The Pirate Charles, good food, dancing, costume contests, and more.
Friday through Sunday, visit the Thieves’ Market and Little Mateys’ Cove. For little pirates, Little Mateys’ Cove features bounce houses, magic shows, dancers, and other entertainment suitable for young buccaneers. At the Thieves’ Market, eat, drink, shop, and be merry. Featuring live music from an assortment of bands, as well as costume contests for the best-dressed pirates on shore leave.
