Skatefest 2009: This annual Savannah favorite continues on through the beginning of year and takes place every day in the Civic center until January 3rd. We don’t get the opportunity to skate in downtown Savannah very often, so take advantage of the fun while it lasts.
New Year’s Dinner Cruise: Celebrate the New Year with a dinner cruise with the River Street Riverboat Company. Boarding starts at 6:00.
New Year’s Gala Event Cruise: Celebrate the New Year at the River Street Riverboat Company's Gala Event Cruise. Boarding starts at 7:30.
Rockin’ New Year’s Eve: Join the cast of the Savannah Theatre and ring in the New Year will Broadway-style music!
City Market New Year’s Eve Celebration: Ring in the New Year at City Market! It's an outdoor street party and you are invited to join in the fun. Free and open to the public; no tickets or reservations are required.
Midnight Fireworks:
on River Street: Fireworks will be shot from Hutchinson Island.
on Tybee Island: Fireworks will be shot from the pier.
Parties at Various Businesses:
Moon River: Moon River Brewing will serve a limited menu of patron favorites, offer hourly drink specials and celebrate with a free champagne toast at midnight.
Tubby's Tankhouse in Thunderbolt: Complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
Club One: Masquerade Ball with champagne and prizes.
Ele: Ele Fine Fusion is having a fantastic New Year’s Eve party with dining, dancing, music and toasting to celebrate.
The Rock House:Join the staff of the Rock House and Outta Your Element as they ring in 2010.
Live Wire Music Hall:Wormslowe opens at 9:00. Bobby Lee Rodgers w/ Jeff Sipe take the stage at 10:30.
Rocks on the Roof at The Bohemian: Looking for live jazz? The Julie Dexter Quartet is performing at Rocks on the Roof at the Bohemian Hotel!
